A refrigerator cannot simply go out to the curb — the refrigerant sealed inside legally has to be recovered first, by someone certified to do it. We handle that whole process for Telshor households and send better than 95% of the old unit on to a recycler instead of a landfill.
A simple 3-step process. We handle everything so you don't have to.
Give us the fridge type, size, and spot in your Telshor home; we quote a flat rate and set a window.
The crew recovers the refrigerant to EPA standard, frees the lines, and eases the fridge out of your Telshor place.
Your old refrigerator goes to a recycler where better than 95% of the material is reclaimed.
There is a real reason fridge disposal is regulated: the refrigerant inside vents straight into the atmosphere if it is not recovered properly, and handling one carelessly can draw a fine in Telshor. Our certified technicians pull the refrigerant first, then move the unit out — side-by-side, French door, top-freezer, bottom-freezer, the garage beer fridge, mini fridges, wine coolers, even commercial units, every type gets the same treatment, ice-maker and water lines disconnected cleanly on the way. From there it goes to a recycling partner that strips out the compressor, coils, steel, plastic, and insulation separately, so almost nothing of the appliance actually ends up buried.
The Telshor corridor runs past MountainView Regional Medical Center through a stretch of medical offices, apartments, and mid-century homes. We book a steady run of office cleanouts and condo turnovers along this part of the city.
Refrigerators hold EPA-regulated refrigerant that must be recovered first. Our Telshor service handles that step and recycles the unit legally.
It runs $100 to $150 in Telshor depending on size and where the unit sits in your home, and that covers recovery, hauling, and recycling.
We do — reach-in boxes, walk-in cooler components, and commercial freezers all go from Telshor restaurants and shops.
