An old mattress is awkward to move, not exactly sanitary to handle, and nearly impossible to drop off on your own. We wrap yours up and carry it out of whichever Tortugas bedroom it is in, then route it to a recycler that reclaims the steel and foam instead of letting it take up landfill space.
A simple 3-step process. We handle everything so you don't have to.
Give us the mattress size and your Tortugas address; we quote a flat rate and set a time.
The crew reaches your Tortugas home, shrink-wraps the mattress for a clean carry, and hauls it out — stairs and all.
Your mattress is delivered to a recycler where springs, foam, and fabric are separated and reused.
Getting rid of a mattress in Tortugas is more of a hassle than it should be — a lot of haulers will not touch them, they do not fit in a typical car, and one left by the alley just turns into the next person's problem. We handle it in a single fast stop. Every size comes off the truck list, twin through California king, along with memory foam, pillow-top, and adjustable models, and we take the box spring, frame, and headboard in the same trip. From there each mattress heads to a recycling partner that pulls it apart for springs, foam, cotton, and wood rather than burying it whole. We shrink-wrap before we ever carry it through your home, so nothing drags or sheds along the way out.
Tortugas is a historic pueblo-descended community just south of NMSU, small lots with deep family roots going back generations. We work carefully around tight older streets here and keep every quote flat regardless of access.
A single mattress starts at $75 in Tortugas, and a mattress-plus-box-spring combo is discounted. It is a flat rate — no surprise fees.
Yes. We work with certified recyclers, and roughly 80% of each mattress — steel, foam, and cotton — is reclaimed rather than landfilled.
Of course. We wrap it first and carry it down through your Tortugas home cleanly, no matter the floor.
